Tonya Yates

One of the best things to happen to me from returning to college this year was Tonya Yates. The first quarter we sat across the room from each other in almost all of our Travel and Tourism subjects. We started eating lunch together and the rest is history. We've become fast friend. During the second and third quarters this year, we have sat next to each other in all of our classes. It is amazing how similar that we really are. Kinda freaky even.

Let me give you some examples...

1. We both have raise Michaels that are actually the son of our spouse.
2. We both have nieces named Hayley (not sure how hers is spelled) and they both happen to be 3 1/2 years old.
3. We both went to schools that had Shawnee in the name.
4. We have similar historys with finances.
5. We are in the same major at Sinclair and are returning to school after many years of being a stay at home mom.
6. We miss the same questions on tests. On our second to the last marketing test, we both got a 98% and missed the exact same question. We have done this so many times that our travel and tourism instuctor almost expects it.
7. We are amazingly the same age - well to be honest, she is a little older (a couple months) than me although she looks a lot younger.

See what I mean? I am so blessed to have found her as my friend. Thanks Tonya for all the support, caring and help you have given me over the last 9 months! (HUGS)
