POTD: January 2 - WARNING - CUSS WORD INCLUDED

This photo actually was taken on January 1st but it documents a story from our family history. I am embracing the Project 365 concept and trying to document details and stories that I do not think of doing an entire page on thus this photo.

As you may remember Dave's stepfather (Grandpa Joe) passed away in April. You probably also know that Jason is extremely active, always moving and he almost always has a ball in his hands of some sorts. During his many visits to Grandma Jane and Grandpa Joes house, Jason has played with this ball and a hand me down nerf basketball hoop from his brothers. Jason literally does not know when to stop. He would/will shoot hoops in the living room while dribbling, dancing and moving the whole time. Grandpa could only handle this so long before you would hear "Put that DAMN BLUE BALL away.". Of course it was usually in fun the first ten times he said it. Finally he would reach his limit and Jason would be forced to stop playing for the day.

Although Grandpa is gone, it never fails when someone tires of the ball bouncing and shooting, they will quote Grandpa and tell Jason to put that "DAMN BLUE BALL" away.
